Christine joined the Capital News family in October of 2014. She started out in the classifieds department, moved into an inside sales position, and then quickly worked her way up to the outside sales team. Christine is from the small northern B.C town of Fort Nelson. She attended college in Calgary where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Alberta College of Art & Design. She is very happy to have relocated to the beautiful Okanagan Valley. Her position in outside sales has allowed her to interact with so many members of the community. She says it has been an excellent avenue for her to really get to know Kelowna. She looks forward to meeting even more clients and helping them grow their businesses.

Rick has been in the newspaper business for 28 years. He started out at the Nanaimo Daily Free Press in 1988 as a sales rep. He became the advertising manager of that newspaper in 1992 for eight years at which time he was promoted to the position of publisher of the Port Alberni Valley Times. In 2008 he moved to Medicine Hat to be the advertising director of the Medicine Hat News which lasted until 2010. He then went to the Lethbridge Herald where he got back into sales. He has been at the Capital News since July 2012 as an advertising consultant and looks forward finishing his newspaper career here in Kelowna.

Teresa has been with the Capital News for over 25 years as a graphic designer, and more recently advertising sales. Her sale areas include West Kelowna, Kelowna and Lake Country, as well as all other Black Press publications. She majored in advertising and communications in college, and will bring a wealth of knowledge and creativity to effectively market your business or organization.

Jim arrived at the Kelowna Capital News in March of 2016 from the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows News, where he spent 15 years as publisher. He has been in the community newspaper business for about 30 years, all but five of them with Black Press, in markets throughout BC, from Terrace to Victoria, Kamloops to Surrey, and he is excited about making Kelowna his permanent home.
