Kelowna: Townhall meetings revived

The Okanagan Valley Entrepreneurs Society wants to revive the townhall meeting concept on a monthly basis.

Are you able to make it to our very special townhall meeting on Wednesday, May 30.

The townhall meetings have shifted slightly from traditional business topics to a greater focus on entrepreneurism.

The topic of discussion for the May 30 meeting will be to balance yoru dreams against business realities, with guest speakers Ed Alfke, angel investor and long-time entrepreneur; Darla Aitken, manager small business, ScotiaBank; Jason Neale, CEO Vericorder; Lee Cartier, professor, Okanagan School of Business at Okanagan College

The townhall forums are geared towards entrepreneurs looking for effective time management strategies that take work/life balance to a whole new level, practices you can apply to your entrepreneurial life now.

The registration cost is $10. See www.ovesociety.org for more information.
