Blood donor matchup pits Kelowna against Prince George

Kelowna once again is taking on Prince George in the Interior Drive for Life—a friendly competition between the blood donor clinics in the two cities.

This year’s goal is to see which clinic can recruit the most new blood donors between Aug. 2 and Sept. 8.

As Canada’s blood donor base ages, Canadian Blood Services must recruit new, younger donors to help keep Canada’s blood supply strong and sustainable.

Call 1-888-2DONATE to book your life saving appointment.

The Kelowna blood donor clinic hours are:

Mondays—noon to 6:45 p.m.

Tuesdays—noon to 6:45 p.m.

Thursdays—noon to 6:45 p.m.
