Kelowna wins blood challenge
This year’s Interior Drive for Life blood donor challenge ended in Kelowna’s favour, beating out Interior rival Prince George.
At the end of six weeks, Kelowna won the Drive for Life title by reaching 106.5 per cent of its challenge goal. Prince George was a very close runner up, reaching 106.3 per cent of its challenge goal. “This was an incredibly inspiring challenge this year,” said Tammie Watson, with Canadian Blood Services in Kelowna.
