Learn about bird banding
The Central Okanagan Naturalists Club has organized an outing to the Vaseux Lake Bird Observatory Saturday, Sept. 24 where you can learn about bird banding from the experts.
To attend, meet in Kelowna at the Apple Bowl parking lot at 6:30 a.m. to carpool to the south of the valley, with a looney to cover insurance. You’ll be back in early afternoon, but take water, a snack and lunch to be enjoyed at the lake.
