Tap into Christmas spirit

It’s still over 50 days until Christmas, but that’s not stopping the Westbank United Church from getting into the Yuletide spirit.

On Saturday, the church will host its annual Christmas Extravaganza and Luncheon in the church hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

According to Bev Rogers, spokesperson for the event, the bazaar is “mostly” put on by the female members of the church. “The men help out too—they help to set up and some years they have their own table,” said Rogers. Money raised from the event goes back into charities on the Westside, said Rogers.
