Glenrosa parents host Christmas Market
The Glenrosa Elementary Parents Advisory Council is crossing their fingers for good weather tonight (Friday) as they host the school’s second annual Christmas Market, from 4 to 9 p.m.
According to Glenrosa Elementary PAC president Bobbi Briden, last year’s event didn’t get any help from Mother Nature. “We actually had a bit of a snow storm come in on the day of, so it was a little slower.”
If the numbers are any indication, Briden has little to worry about this year. The 2010 event featured 36 vendors; nearly 50 have already signed up for this year’s market.
The Christmas Market will feature a variety of local artisans, crafters and bakers. A couple volunteer singers will belt out Christmas carols to get guests in the holiday spirit.
