Kelowna history author promotes book

Sharron Simpson, author of a new book about Kelowna’s history called The Kelowna Story: An Okanagan History, will give a series of readings and book signings in Kelowna at the following locations:

•  Reading, talk and book signing at the Okanagan Heritage Museum on Saturday, Nov. 26, from 10 a.m. to noon

• Book signing at Costco on Sunday, Nov. 27, from 10 a.m. to noon.

• Reading and book signing at Okanagan College on Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Simpson’s book illuminates the history of the Okanagan.

It is full of fascinating and quirky stories about the ordinary people that make the area one of the most extraordinary places on earth.
