Kelowna’s environment topic at CONC agm
Kelowna’s parks and environment will be the topic featured at this year’s annual general meeting of the Central Okanagan Naturalists’ Club.
Speakers will be Terry Barton, manager, parks and public spaces for the city, and Todd Cashin, environment and land use manager. They will talk about the achievements in 2011 and the challenges for the city upcoming for 2012.
Photos entered in the club’s photo contest will be judged by those attending the January meeting, which is Tues., Jan. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Evangel Church, 3261 Gordon Dr.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
