RONA MS Bike Swap Saturday, March 22

The second annual RONA MS Bike Swap, presented by Fresh Air, will be held on Saturday March 22 at the RONA store located on Springfield Road in Kelowna.

The public is invited to bring their bicycles for sale to RONA on Friday March 21 between 3 and 7 p.m.  Fresh Air staff will be on hand to assist with setting a price on your bike for sale the next day.  All bicycles must be in good working condition.

On Saturday March 22, the RONA MS Bike Swap will start at 9:00 a.m. and run till 2 p.m.   The public is invited to this sale and a portion of the proceeds of bikes sold will be donated to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada Okanagan Chapter.

Fresh Air staff will be on hand to assist buyers in selecting the bicycle that is just right for their needs.  Volunteers from Team RONA of the Okanagan Grape Escape will also be on hand to assist the purchasers.

RONA has arranged for M&M Meats to host a barbeque with the proceeds being donated to the Okanagan Chapter of the MS Society as well.

Also on hand will be volunteers from the MS Society selling 50/50 tickets for $2 each with the draw at noon. (You do not have to be present to win.)

Music and a slideshow highlighting the Okanagan Grape Escape will be part of the day’s event.

The RONA MS Bike Swap is a fundraising event to highlight cycling and the Okanagan Grape Escape, a bike tour and fundraiser to held on Sept. 13 and 14 this year,  supporting the MS Society.  Registrations for this event will also be taken.

Bike drop off Friday March 21 from 3-7 p.m.

Bike sale Saturday March 22 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
