Townhall meeting Sept. 8 to focus on suicide prevention

The topic of suicide will be front and centre at a townhall meeting presented by the Okanagan Suicide Awareness Society with the support of local Conservative MPs Ron Cannan and Dan Albas.

The meeting takes place Sept. 8, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., at Parkinson Recreation Centre’s Orchard Room.

The meeting will focus on suicide and its impact in the Central Okanagan, its prevention, and citizen concerns regarding the impact of suicide in our community and access to services.
