Photo contest deadline looms

Only a few days remain in the Picture West Kelowna photo contest. Entrants have an opportunity to win one of three prizes.

The contest, which began on July 18 and closes on Sunday, Sept. 18, has three categories: Best view, perfect vacation and people in action.

The winner of the best view category will win a $150 gift certificate to Old Vines Restaurant at Quails’ Gate Winery.

The winner of the perfect vacation category will win a $150 gift certificate to Spa at the Cove. A $150 gift certificate for Shannon Lake Golf Course goes to the winner of the people in action section of the contest.

 

Photos may be submitted online at www.districtofwestkelowna.ca. Photos also may be submitted on CD at Municipal Hall. To be eligible, all photos must have been taken in the district  after Jan. 1, 2011.
