Seasonal water shut-off and closure for most park washrooms

Most City of Kelowna park washrooms will close for the season on Oct. 16.

Most City of Kelowna park washrooms will close for the season on Oct. 16.

Washrooms at City Park (only the accessible washroom pavilion), Stuart Park and Gerstmar Park will remain open over the winter. In some locations, portable toilets will be available.

Water service to parks will be shut off for the season during the last two weeks of October, including off-leash dog parks.

These closures are necessary to prevent pipes from freezing during the winter months. All washrooms and water services will be operational again in early April, weather permitting.
