Okanagan Drama Festival: Six plays in five days

From May 23 to 27 you can see six plays from five of the Okanagan’s best community theatre groups, in the Okanagan Zone Drama Festival.

This year the O-Zone is being held in Kelowna, at the Mary Irwin Theatre in the Rotary Centre for the Arts.

All plays begin at 7:30 p.m. On the morning following each play this year’s adjudicator, Keith Digby, will give cast and crew a two-hour critique. The week ends with a workshop, an awards banquet and dance.

Tuesday May 24: Bag Dancing—Bumbershoot Theatre, Kelowna

Wednesday May 25: Rabbit Hole—Powerhouse Theatre, Vernon

Thursday May 26 Heartbreak House—Shuswap Theatre, Salmon Arm

Friday May 27: Fawlty Towers—Kamloops Players

Saturday May 28: 5:30 p.m. Wind Up Awards Banquet and Dance
