Kelowna choir presents annual Christmas concert at Delta Grand
The Kelowna International Choir will again present its 17th annual Christmas benefit concert on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2:30 p.m., in the main ballroom of the Delta Grand Hotel.
Admission is by donation of a food item ,or money. The proceeds will go to the Kelowna Community Food Bank.
The choir has been singing and performing together since 1985, and this is the 17th year that it has given a benefit concert for the food bank.
KIC also provides entertainment to various care homes around the city.
The choir is presently being directed by well-known musician Dennis Colpitts, who also directs the Kelowna City Band. The city band will be the choir’s special guests for the Dec. 9 concert.
Piano accompaniment for the choir will be provided by the choir’s long-time accompanist, Sylvia Clerke.
