Sting to perform at Prospera Place
Sting will kick off his second consecutive world concert tour next summer in Kelowna at Prospera Place on Thursday, May 30.
The former lead singer for The Police will be touring with a five-piece band, coming on the heels of a successful worldwide tour in 2011-12 across North America, Europe, the UK, Asia and South Africa.
Sting will be joined by his longtime guitarist Dominic Miller, Vinnie Colaiuta (drums), David Sancious (keyboards) Peter Tickell (electric fiddle), and Jo Lawry (vocals).
After the Kelowna concert, Sting will make stops in cities across North America before heading across the Atlantic for performances in Poland, Ireland, France, Denmark, and Norway.
Tickets for the Kelowna concert go on sale Monday, Jan. 28, 10 a.m., and are available at www.livenation.com or to charge by phone 250-762-5050, or at the Prospera Place Box Office.
Tickets prices are $66.50, $116.50 and $176.50.
