Winery offers taste of classical music

The Okanagan Composers will present a free contemporary classical music concert at Summerhill Pyramid Winery on Saturday, Feb. 9, 7:30 p.m.

The concert is part of the New Music in New Places national initiative of the Canadian Music Centre to take Canadian music out of concert halls and into venues where contemporary, classical music is not usually performed.

This unique concert offers a rare opportunity to mix and mingle with the creators behind the music, amidst the stunning surroundings of the Summerhill winery.

While admission is free, seating is limited and available by registration at  www.summerhill.bc.ca/wines/music.
