Global Citizen Kelowna presents Artist's Eye, a free family event providing the opportunity to showcase how art can be used as a tool to create positive change.

The artists of the Cool Arts Society, a group with a wide range of physical and cognitive differences, recognize the gracious support they've received from the local and global community over the years and now they want to give back. On this weekend, this interactive family event offers families a way to design a work of art, in a postcard format, with the guidance of the Cool Arts artists.

There will be a silent auction bid on canvas mandala murals created by these multi-talented artists. The mandalas will be on display at the Artist's Eye event, as well as at the Global Music Fest events on Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2.

Bidding will remain open until the end of the Global Music Fest event on Saturday night. Proceeds from each mandala will go to support arts and life skills programs for underprivileged children at Muskaan and adults living with cerebral palsy at SPACE Institute in India.

The event runs Saturday March 2, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Laurel Packing House.
