June 6 Val Kilmer & The New Coke w/ Rumpus Room

Val Kilmer & The New Coke are the most fun you've had since the actual ’80s. Remember those?

We do, so come party with the ’80s new wave cover band. VKNC not only play hit songs from the ’80s but hold in their repertoire the true gems that defined so many artists of its era and continue to influence the new wave of indie synth rockers today. Covering hits ranging from 'Blondie' to 'Billy Idol' , 'Modern English' to 'Micheal Jackson', and 'Phil Colins' to 'Pat Benetar', the band has become no stranger to a packed dance floor.

With undeniably some of the most accessible music to entertain any crowd, and composed of five devastatingly talented, good looking, charismatic, yet modest musicians. Val Kilmer and The New Coke brings the kind of show that will sweep audiences off their feet in a whirlwind of synth lasers, tight and bright attitude and in your face rocking fun.

June 12 Okanagan Tatoo Convention

This is the Okanagan's and Don't Look Down Tattoos second year throwing the Okanagan's Tatoo Convention at Parkinson's Rec Center.

In honour of this fabulous event Don't Look Down Tattoos is hosted the official pre-party at the Habitat. The theme of the evening is Pin-up / Greaser, so all you sassy pin-up kittens out there, join in for your chance to win a ticket to the Okanagan Tattoo Show on July 18-20 or gift certificates to Don't Look Down Tattoo Shop.

The Habitat is at 248 Leon Ave. in downtown Kelowna.
