Focus on chronic disease prevention
Chronic disease prevention will be the focus of the 4th annual Diversity Health Fair on Sunday at the Okanagan Sikh Temple, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 1111 Rutland Rd.
The health fair is organized by Kelowna Community Resources in partnership with Welcome BC and AMSSA (Affiliation of Multicultural Societies and Services Agencies).
Exhibitors will include non-profit health and wellness related organizations offering advice on how to live a healthy lifestyle.
Admission for the public is free.
Event coordinator Doreen Rosvold said: “I am excited to showcase this multicultural venue to our community while offering health information to the diverse cultures in our community.”
