If you want to get a start of your Christmas shopping, this is the weekend to do so in Kelowna.
Over the course of the weekend, there are 17 different Christmas and winter markets going on around the Central Okanagan. Here is the list of them and where they all are:
- 2nd annual Christmas Ornament and Art Show (10 a.m.) - West Kelowna Yacht Club, 4111 Gellatly Rd, West Kelowna;
- Winter Wanderland (starting at 10 a.m.) and Holiday Gala (starting at 6 p.m.) - Quails’ Gate Winery, 3303 Boucherie Road, West Kelowna. The gala is raising money for the Central Okanagan Fire Relief Fund;
- Craft Culture Holiday Magic (10 a.m.) - Rotary Centre for the Arts, 421 Cawston Avenue, Kelowna;
- Glenmore Winter Market (9 a.m.) - Green Gables Daycare, 228 Valley Road, Kelowna;
- Central Okanagan United Church Christmas Craft Fair (9 a.m.) - Central Okanagan United Church, 721 Bernard Avenue, Kelowna;
- Christmas Fair at the French Cultural Centre (9 a.m.) - Centre culturel francophone de l’Okanagan, 702 Bernard Avenue, Kelowna;
- Christmas Fair & Artists Market (9 a.m.) - Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 2547 Hebert Road, West Kelowna;
- St. George Old Fashion Christmas Bazaar (9 a.m.) - St George’s Anglican Church, 3690 Brown Road, West Kelowna;
- Ponderosa Fibre Arts Guild Annual Artisan Sale (9:30 a.m.) - First Baptist Church, 1309 Bernard Ave, Kelowna;
- Merry In The Mountains (9:30 a.m.) - Faded Flannel Farm, 6825 Goudie Road, Kelowna;
- A heartfelt Christmas Market (10 a.m.) - German Canadian Club, 1696 Cary Road, Kelowna;
- Clayline Pottery Studio Members Holiday Sale (10 a.m.) - Clayline Pottery Studio, 523 Lawrence Ave, Kelowna;
- Grumpy Wife & Friends Christmas Craft Store (10 a.m.) - Friendly Farmer & Grumpy Wife Fruit Stand, 2777 KLO Road, Kelowna;
- It’s Christmas at the Red Barn (10 a.m.) - Mission Community Hall, Lakeshore Road, Kelowna;
- Christmas at the Laurel (10 a.m.) - Laurel Packinghouse, 1304 Ellis Street, Kelowna;
- Connect Christmas Market (10 a.m.) - Parkinson Recreation Centre, 1800 Parkinson Way, Kelowna;
- Jerry Dober Brunch and Christmas Market (11 a.m.) - 50+ Activity Centre, 5672 Beach Avenue, Peachland.
Bold - market is happening on both this Saturday and Sunday (Nov. 18 and 19)
Italics - market is happening on just Sunday, not Saturday.
Most of the markets are asking for a small donation or a non-perishable food item upon arrival. Happy shopping everyone!
