All-Star West Kelowna Warriors ready for Round 2 of BCHL playoffs

As the West Kelowna Warriors start round two of the BCHL playoffs tonight (Apr. 19), four players have been named to the league’s All-Rookie and All-Star teams.

Felix Caron was named to the 2nd All-Star team while Isaiah Norlin was selected as a 1st-team All-Star on the blue line with Cal Hughes and Jack Pridham finding spots on the All-Rookie Team.

Caron finished the regular season with the third most points in the league, collecting 31 goals and 38 assists. He has 11 points in the playoffs.

Norlin led all defencemen in scoring this season, netting 12 goals and 36 assists. He also leads all blue-liners in playoff scoring with seven assists in seven games.

Pridham put up 23 goals and 25 assists during the season and has eight points in the playoffs. Hughes had 23 goals, 19 assists, and eight points in the playoffs.

West Kelowna opens its Interior Conference Semi-Final against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks at Royal LePage Place (RLP) tonight.

The Silverbacks have two players on the 2nd All-Star team, defacement Tristan Allen and Eli Pulver. Salmon Arm beat the Merritt Centennials in six games to advance.

This is the fifth time the Warriors and Silverbacks have met in the postseason and the third time in the second round.

West Kelowna won in 2008, 2016, and 2022. Salmon Arm’s lone playoff win was in 2009.

Puck drop for Game 1 is set for 7 p.m.

Tickets are available on the Warriors website, and at the RLP box office, one hour before game time.
