UPDATED: Two arrested in Kelowna break and enter

Two men have been arrested after police nabbed them coming out of a home they allegedly broke into early Monday morning.

Police say a neighbour in the 1400-block of Lambert Avenue heard noises coming from a home at 2:30 a.m. and saw people inside.

However, he also knew that the owner of the home was not in the house at the time, so he called police.

A 20-year-old Surrey man was arrested as he stepped outside the home, said police, and a 25-year-old Kelowna man was caught in a nearby hedge.

Both were expected to be in court Monday.

Police say the break-in was not the first time over the weekend that the house had been targetted.

Just after 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, two men were witnessed loading items into a truck or camper that was parked at the home.

When police arrived, they found one of the doors to the home had been forced open but were unable to locate the camper.

Just before 11 p.m. the same day, the same truck or camper was seen in the driveway but drove away shortly after.

Police are investigating if there is any link between the two men arrested and the vehicle seen at the home earlier in the weekend.

UPDATE: Charged with break and enter are Blake Edward Nahachewski, 25, and Eric Taylor Storring, 20. Nahachewski is also charged with breaching his curfew. They're both set to be in court again on Feb. 7.
