Six people arrested in drug bust

A drug search at a home on Swainson Road in Kelowna on Tuesday has led to the arrest of six people.

One female and five males, ranging in age from 25 to 45 years, were arrested at the scene. All of the arrested individuals are Kelowna residents.

As a result of the search, drugs, firearms and a large amount of money were seized.

All of the suspects were released on Promises to Appear in court at a later date and will be facing recommended charges which include possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of unregistered firearms.

The investigation is ongoing.
