Triathlon closures

With the City of Kelowna hosting the 29th annual Apple Triathlon festivities this weekend, it will mean numerous road closures, traffic detours and changes to the regular transit schedule.

For detailed information on the traffic changes, check out the website kelowna.ca/roadreport, and look under the category Outdoor Events Notices.

On Saturday, from 6 a.m to 12:#0 p.m., the downtown roads will be affected by the Kids Of Steel Triathlon and the Try a Tri events.

On Sunday, the Apple Triathlon will begin at 6:30 a.m. and continue until 3:30 p.m.

The Water Street boat launch will be closed from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, and it along with the Cook Road, Sutherland Park and Queensway boat launches will be closed from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
