Crash slows down traffic on Highway 97
Lake Country RCMP and Central Okanagan Traffic Services are currently on scene of a serious motor vehicle collision on Highway 97 and Ponderosa Road in Lake Country, says Sgt. Ann Morrison.
"The highway is closed at this time. Emergency crews are on scene. Please advise motorists that they could expect a delay for a couple of hours, possibly," she said.
The accident happened at about 8:30 Thursday morning on Highway 97 and Ponderosa Drive, about one kilometer north of Winfield.
