Kelowna couple wanted for rash of break-ins

Kelowna Mounties are looking for a 29-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man  who are wanted in connection to a number of recent break ins around Rutland.

Christopher Conrad Storfield and Melissa Humphries have outstanding warrants for charges of Break and Enter and Theft and are being investigated for several more Break and Enters to underground parking areas and thefts of property and vehicles.

The duo are connected to a November police investigation found that 16 vehicles  parked in the underground parking areas of  buildings in the 700 block of Rutland, were broken in to. Various electronic equipment —stereo, Ipods, laptop computer—and music discs were taken from some of the vehicles entered, said Const. Steve Holmes.

"Police learned that two vehicles, a Dodge Neon and a Dodge pickup, were also stolen but later recovered," he said.

Police have been unable to locate either suspect and are asking for the public's help in finding them.
