New executive for B.C. Fruit Growers Association
The B.C. Fruit Growers Association has a new executive.
Kirpal Boparai of Kelowna has been elected president during the BCFGA's 123rd annual general meeting in Kelowna Friday, while Vernon's Jeet Dukhia is the vice-president.
Boparai replaces Joe Sardinha, who decided not to seek another term as president.
The B.C. Fruit Growers’ Association represents 760 family-operated farms that provide $300 million in economic activity.
