Kelowna prolific offender picked up by police

A man police have deemed a prolific offender may have his best crime creating days behind him, as he was picked up last week on a number of outstanding wawrrants.

"The West Kelowna RCMP were called to fight at a gas station on the 2400 block of Dobbin Road, April 5," said to Kris Clark.

"Dayton Lloyd McAlpine, who was wanted on several outstanding arrest warrants, was found at the scene and taken into custody. He was held for court and is set to appear today."

McAlpine was wanted on multiple counts of Breach of Probation and Break and Enter, and may be facing a new charge of Obstruction.
