Chip load spilled on Highway 33
Traffic on Highway 33 east of Kelowna has come to a standstill.
The reason is a transport truck loaded with chips overturned on Highway 33 at the 8 Mile Ranch hairpin turn, say Kelowna RCMP.
The semi-tractor trailer unit spilled part of the truck's chip load across the highway, blocking traffic in both directions until it can be cleaned up.
Police say there were no injuries in the mishap.
