UK family avoids injury in Westside Road rollover
A family of four avoided any serious injuries after their rental car rolled on Westside Road Monday.
West Kelowna Mounties received a report of a rollover about 10 km south of La Casa on Westside Road at 3:50 p.m.
Emergency crews responded but found the family of four to be uninjured.
The driver, a 35-year-old man from the UK, was driving north on Westside Road in a rented Ford Explorer when he apparently caught the shoulder and went into the ditch.
The man, his wife and two children were taken to Kelowna General Hospital as a precaution.
Driver inattention is believed to be a factor in the crash; the family was scheduled to return home to the UK on Tuesday.
