Body of female adult found in Okanagan Lake

West Kelowna and Kelowna RCMP are investigating in conjunction with the B.C. Coroner's Service a sudden death.

The body of a female adult was recovered from Okanagan Lake early this morning near City Park. The investigation is still in the preliminary stages and the identity of the deceased has not yet been released.

The West Kelowna RCMP general investigation section with assistance from the Kelowna RCMP detachment are continuing the investigation.

The cause of death has not yet been definitively determined.
