Police looking for Kelowna robber

Mounties are looking for help identifying the men who were with a 29 year old West Kelowna man who was badly beaten and robbed two weeks ago in the parking lot of a hostel in downtown Kelowna.

The Kelowna RCMP received a report of a robbery outside the Same Sun Hostel, 245 Harvey Avenue,  June 13  at 3 a.m.

"The West Kelowna man had apparently been drinking with two other men during the night before making his way toward the hostel," said Const. Kris Clark.

"It was there in the parking lot that he was beaten and his money taken from his wallet. He suffered extensive but non-life threatening injuries which later required surgery."

Police are looking to identify the two men he was with, or any other witnesses.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.crimestoppers.net to report.
