Peachland residents victim of home invasion
West Kelowna RCMP are looking for a number of suspects after a home was invaded in Peachland last night.
Mounties received a report of a home invasion on the 5700 block of MacKenzie Road in Peachland, Aug. 23 2:30 a.m.
"Apparently, four men broke into the home, causing the sole occupant to flee. Neighbours were awakened by the sound of a gun shot and observed four men getting into a smaller white four-door pickup truck," said Const. Kris Clark.
"Police believe this to be an isolated incident and that the residence was targeted."
Police continue to process the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
