Police arrest three burglary suspects
Three suspects are in custody as the Kelowna RCMP continues to investigate a series of break-ins that occurred over the weekend.
On Nov. 12 at around 1 a.m., the Kelowna RCMP located a 2001 white Dodge van in the parking lot of the Tim Hortons restaurant on Harvey Avenue that appeared to be similar to one associated to a rash of break and enters from the previous evening.
The vehicle plates did not match and it was determined to have been stolen from Campion Street in October.
Three men who had been identified as suspects in at least one of the break-ins were located inside the nearby restaurant. The three men were taken into custody in relation to the break and enter and were found to be in possession of break-in instruments and stolen property.
A 24-year-old Kamloops man, 25-year-old Kelowna man and 45-year-old Kelowna man are all expected to attend court this afternoon.
