Kelowna Mounties search for missing woman

Kelowna RCMP are requesting the public's assistance in locating Marilyn Whiting who was reported missing Saturday.

Whiting was last seen at 8 a.m. Jan .4 by a family member prior to leaving her residence in the Mission area of Kelowna.

Whiting is described as Caucasian, five-foot-10, 125-pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a knitted toque and a faux brown three-quarter length fur jacket.

Whiting is addicted to alcohol and common areas frequented by her in the Kelowna area were checked by police with negative results.

If anyone sees Whiting, or knows of her whereabouts, they are asked to contact Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
