Intoxicated Kelowna man arrested after gun threat
An intoxicated 37-year-old Kelowna man was taken into custody near the intersection of Dilworth Drive and Springfield Road Wednesday afternoon.
Kelowna RCMP responded after receiving a report that the man, who was panhandling at Mission Creek Regional Park, made a threat that he had a gun.
Police determined the man was unarmed upon arresting him. Sgt. Wade Seversen said the man was put in a cell and would be released without charges when he was determined sober.
