West Kelowna municipal hall market sounding deadline approaches

Those interested in giving input regarding a new West Kelowna municipal office have until Friday to do so.

The district, through a consultant, is calling on all interested parties to take part in a market sounding, intended to determine the market place interest and explore potential partnerships in the development of a municipal hall or civic centre, in an open and non-binding manner.

The current district headquarters is close to operational capacity. Council is prepared to consider a variety of options for providing municipal offices, including, but not limited to, developing a new multipurpose civic centre, developing a new civic centre as a stand-alone facility or partnering with a developer to create a mixed-use development.
