Police recover stolen scooters

The Kelowna RCMP Property Crime Unit searched an Ellison area property last week and recovered a number of stolen items.

RCMP discovered three stolen scooters, two licence plates and a flat deck trailer from a residential property on the 4800 block of Rittich Road.

The scooters had been stolen from Motor Toyz earlier in the month. The trailer was never reported stolen and an owner has yet to be confirmed, but police are aware of who the likely owner is and anticipate it will be returned to them shortly.

If you have a tip about suspicious activity, remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, visiting crimestoppers.net or texting CRIMES (274637) ktown.
