Impaired driver causes damage in Peachland

A 54-year-old Peachland resident faces impaired driving charges after crashing into multiple vehicles and light posts on Beach Avenue Tuesday night.

At approximately 8 p.m., West Kelowna RCMP received several reports from witnesses that a vehicle had collided with multiple parked cars in downtown Peachland.

RCMP attended and the suspect driver was detained for an impaired driver investigation. The driver later provided breath samples over three times the legal limit.

The Peachland resident will appear in court in December to face several criminal charges, including impaired driving.
