Key business award finalists announced

Twenty-three West Kelowna businesses have been named finalists for the Westbank and District Chamber of Commerce 2013 Key Business Awards.

The list of finalists, released Monday, includes:

- Casa Loma Lakeshore Resort

- DeMarcos Lawn and Tree

- Edo Japan

- Fitzen Massage

- Freeride Boardshop

- Gabys Grill

- Inspired Eyes

- Kekuli Cafe

- Manchester Signs

- Northside Industries

- Paynters Fruit Market

- Postnet

- Senior to Senior Home Services

- Some Wear in Time Consignment Haven

- The Cove Lakeside Resort

- Valley West Dental

- West Kelowna Visitor Centre

- Westbank Museum

- Westside Foodbank

- Westside Irrigation.

"We received over 70 nominations from local businesses that cover 10 award categories," said judging committee lead Marek Buryska.

"The response has been terrific and we are thrilled to have such a strong participation from Greater Westside businesses."

There will be a reception held Thursday evening for finalists and sponsors just prior to the awards gala dinner, starting at 5 p.m. at Two Eagles Golf Course. The reception is sponsored by the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan.
