Kelowna bus driver beat up

A  teenager is being sought in connection with an assault of a 44-year-old Kelowna Transit bus driver at the bus loop on Gordon Drive.

The suspect, believed to be between the ages of 15 and 17, fled the scene on foot while the bus driver was taken to Kelowna General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man wearing a blue jacket, grey ball cap with flat brim and baby blue New York Yankees lettering.

Police say a second suspect also fled the scene.

Anyone with any information regarding the identity of the suspect is asked to call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300. Remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, leaving a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net or by texting your tip to CRIMES (274637) ktown.
