Kelowna Mounties seeking input from mobile phone filmmakers

Police are seeking witnesses, especially those with video of the incident, after a physical altercation resulted in multiple persons being stabbed early Saturday morning.

The West Kelowna RCMP received a report of a stabbing outside of a licenced establishment on the 5300 block Big White Road, Dec. 21 at 12:45 a.m.

"Multiple people were reportedly involved in a verbal altercation that physically escalated before culminating in a stabbing," said Const. Kris Clark.

"Multiple people were injured in the incident with a 21-year-old Kelowna man suffering the most significant injuries. He remains in medical care at this time."

The investigation is ongoing.

Police are looking for anyone who saw the incident and has yet to speak with investigators. Additionally, police are seeking private video recordings, such as cell phone and camcorder video, in order to supplement the video surveillance footage already obtained.
