Harvey Avenue westbound traffic backed up in Kelowna

Traffic still backed up in the westbound lanes of Harvey Avenue after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Spall and Harvey earlier this afternoon.

A semi-transport collided with a pickup truck while making a right-hand turn off Harvey onto Spall.

The female driver of the pickup was taken away to Kelowna General Hospital by ambulance on a stretcher but the extent of her injuries is not known.

The driver of the semi was not injured.

The accident has backed up westbound traffic along Harvey from Spall back beyond Cooper Road.
