Noon hour traffic on a Friday in Kelowna can be a nightmare.
And an accident on Highway 97 near the intersection with Spall gave commuters all they could handle.
Emergency vehicles including ambulance, fire and RCMP responded to an accident on Highway 97 between Cooper and Spall on Friday just before 1 p.m.
The accident shut down a single lane of Harvey Ave. north-bound as the vehicles sat in the HOV lane between Spall and Cooper.
Occupants of the vehicles appeared to be OK as they were out of the vehicles.
