Traffic turning onto Highway 97 from Old Okanagan Highway came to a standstill Tuesday morning, after a two-vehicle collision.

A white car turning out of the Petro Canada onto Old Okanagan Highway, in West Kelowna, pulled out and right into a tanker truck. The vehicle crashed into the rear-end of the truck and will have to be towed from the scene.

Witnesses say due to the speed of the incident no injuries were reported.

Emergency crews worked to clear the scene as soon as possible, so as not to affect Highway 97 traffic.
