Coroner identifies body found in Myra Bellevue provincial park

The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man whose body was found by hikers in Myra-Bellevue provincial park.

Mark Warren Edelhoff, aged 56, of Kelowna is the man whose body was found at around 7 p.m. June 27 at the base of Myra Canyon Trestle No. 9.

The hikers notified the RCMP when they came upon Edelhoff, and his body was recovered the next morning by search and rescue personnel.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate to determine the cause and manner of Mr. Edelhoff's death. Foul play has been ruled out.
