Police were flagged over in the 200 block of Lawrence Avenue where a 44 year old Kelowna man had been stabbed by an unknown man, Oct. 14 at 2 a.m.

There is indication that the Kelowna man had some form of contact with a group of five unidentified males, said Const. Kris Clark, noting that he doesn’t know if was an altercation or even a conversation that led to the stabbing.

“The man was transported by BC Ambulance Service personnel to Kelowna General Hospital suffering from serious injuries,” he said. “As of Sunday night he remained in hospital in stable condition.”

Police are requesting that anyone with any information about the events surrounding the stabbing or saw the victim to call the Kelowna RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
