Spring gets to a chilly start in Kelowna

Spring is saying a chilly goodbye to winter, according to the national weather agency.

Spring was sprung just before 3:30 a.m. and although the skies were bright and clear Environment Canada logged temperatures of - 4 C.

At sunrise it was still clear and cool, but that’s expected to change throughout the day as increasing cloudiness is forecasted with a high temperature of 9 C.

Tonight, there is a 40 per cent change of flurries or rain showers before morning and a low of 1 C.
