On August 2, at 10:14 p.m., the West Kelowna RCMP responded to a report of a shooting that had just occurred on Hudson Road near Highway 97. “The suspect was located by officers, along with police dog Ice, hiding in the immediate area and suffering from injuries believed to be non-life threatening in nature,” says Const. Jesse O’Donaghey. “The RCMP believe that this was a targeted incident, not a random attack,” O’Donaghey said.
